Analog isolating amplifiers suit every application
01.06.2012

The two analog converters series cores C1 and cores C2 from Wieland Electric are for galvanic isolation and measuring signal conversion. As universal modules, they are designed for converting signal forms; six versions cover all types of analog signal processing.
Both series can measure and convert (with galvanic isolation): current, voltage or temperatures using different sensors such as Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, KTY81, KTY84 or NTC, with thermoelements, potentiometers or rheostats. This prevents electromagnetic interference and potential differences, which could distort process measuring values and have a negative impact on production processes.
The super-narrow cores C1 series with 6.2 mm modular width is also suitable for distributed configurations. The benefit: One single device can process the most different input voltages or input currents, covering numerous applications.
cores C2 is a product range offering even more application options. Variants with differently parameterizable input ranges and variants with two outputs are available.
The two isolating amplifier series meet the requirements of the relevant standards and have UL and CE approval.
Beside this new series, Wieland Electric's comprehensive interface product range has been expanded with various new product series in the fields of timer relays, measuring and monitoring relays, overvoltage protection, Ethernet switches, and power supplies.
All innovations are introduced in the latest “Interface” catalog, which can be requested using the order numbers 0056.0 (German), 0156.0 (English).
