3 Phase system monitoring

Application

Function:

Three-phase system monitoring can be used to monitor up to three voltages by comparison to the neutral conductor. When an input (L1, L2 or L3) goes below 85% of the system voltage, then the relay will drop out, and the LED will extinguish. When monitoring a single phase (alternating voltage), inout terminals L1, L2 and L3 must be connected via a jumper.

Note:

In the event of phase failure (eg as a result of a blown fuse), under inductive loads (three-phase induction motors) reverse induction can occur on the open line. If the voltage is large enough, this may lead to monitoring errors.
