Coded Safety Sensors – Series SMA                                                

The non-contacting IP67-rated SMA Series coded safety sensors detect the positions of protective doors or machine components in the harshest industrial environments. Designed to perform flawlessly during long periods of high vibration, the SMA coded sensors are lightweight, compact and tamperproof, allowing for a broad range of adaptation within a variety of safety system environments. The versatile SMA safety sensors are available in cube, rectangular, or circular mounting with cable or M8 connectivity.

The samosPRO compact modular safety PLC can control up to 96 safe inputs and 48 safe outputs. Up to four individual samosNET PLC’s may be networked to a total of 384 safe inputs and 192 safe outputs via a safety bus to provide safe communication between individual machines. The samosPRO & samosNET safety PLC have optional industrial ethernet and fieldbus gateways such as Ethernet/IP, PROFIBUS DP, PROFINET IO, MODBUS/TCP, or CANopen for communications to PLC’s, HMI’s, and other networked controllers for status and bi-directional control. The free samosPLAN software can be intuitively programmed with no special knowledge of PLC programming languages.
