Wieland's new family of PST 40i1 connectors with 16 - 8 AWG (1.5 mm2 - 10 mm2) wire capability provides pluggable connections on the inverter’s DC side over extended cable runs. Featuring a 40A capability and superior contact conductivity, these PST 40i1 connectors satisfy the trend towards increased input on solar string inverters.
PST 40i1 connectors feature quick assembly, easy handling, mate compatibility with industry standard types, resistance to UV, and high conductivity. The IP 68 ingress protection rating ensures operation in harsh conditions. The molded cable and field wired versions both carry the rated current across the entire temperature range.
